Since the launch of Pure Leverage there is an ongoing debate amongst the online marketing professionals out there about choosing the better company. Since I have been involved in both these opportunities let me put an evaluation as objectively as possible.

Let's first categorize the most important standards upon which we are going to put our focus:

  Management team: Empower Network is headed by David Wood and David Sharpe where as Pure Leverage is spear headed by Joel Therien (Illona and Mike are also there). Joel has a successful back ground of running GVO business for the last 13 years or so. Has a very clean and honest back image behind him. One the other hands Davis Wood & Sharpe has a strong online marketing background behind them but they do not have the glorious past of running an organization. So, for obvious reasons Pure Leverage scores here.
  
  
  Products: Products are the back bone of any company and determines the future growth curve of an organization. Empower has the blogging platform for $25/month, inner circle for $100/month, costa rica intensive for $500, $15K formula for $1000 and masters course for $3500. On the other hand Pure Leverage has products like autoresponder system, video conference room up to 100 people, turbo traffic generator, video e-mail service, blogging platform, elite coaching program. All inclusive $25/month. It is no brainer to understand that Pure Leverage provides a better value per product. Another great advantage is that PL products can be used as a back end to promote any online biz ex. autoresponder, conference room. 
  The cost effectiveness is mainly due to GVO's support as a company and their in house product supply. 
  Empower Network's blogging platform is only to promote EN. Where as PL's blogging can be customized to promote any biz out there. So, no need to have a separate platform to blog for yourself. Especially, after the Google's implementation of penguin and panda clauses Pure Leverage's blog scores over that of Empower Network.
  
  
  Support: Pure Leverage has a rock solid support system headed by Illona Therien. They can out bit any company out there in this aspect. 
  Leadership & Testimonials:  Here I mean leaders who are building the biz. Though Pure Leverage came much after Empower Network but Empower Network's leadership qualities are world class and beyond comparison. They have created success stories after success stories and marketed them very well. So, as per as the quality of leaders, systems and stories are concerned Empower Network is way above Pure Leverage. And now with new Millionaire ring EN has scored again.
  
  
  Compensation Plan: To be honest both have impeccable comp plan which pays 100% commission. Though pass ups in EN some time becomes pain in the a$$ but the big ticket items of Empower Network attracts lots of big hitters in the industry. 
  
  
  While EN can be fast money making place for industry leaders, Pure Leverage can a breeding ground which will manufacture market leaders in long term.
